A petite bright-green heaven. A cosmopolitan island that combines picturesqueness and nobleness. Paxos, the smallest of the Ionian islands, can easily charm every visitor. It is locates 7 nautical miles southern of Corfu and 8 nautical miles from the mainland.

Like all Ionian islands, Paxos main characteristics are the dense sprouting as well as the famous olive groves. The biggest village of Paxos is Gaios. It is surrounded by two little islets, which create a natural shield for the harbor, giving protection and for the visiting vessels. Starting from Gaios someone can easily visit the beaches of Giannias, Soulanena, Kloni Gouli, Kamini and Kaki Lagkada. Moreover, the islets of Madonna and St. Nikolas are surrounded by glorious beaches.

When the night comes, great variety of taverns, little restaurants, bars and pubs are available to spend your time eating, relaxing or dancing.

In the northern part of Paxos, 8 Km from Gaios, lies the village of Lakka, which is located inside a little natural golf with azure crystal waters. Like Gaios, lots of beaches are easily accessible like Haramis, Monodendri or by boat Orkos and Arkoudaki.

In the middle of Paxos lies the village of Loggos, a peaceful little harbor surrounded by the forest from on side and by sea from the other. Again taverns, cafès and bars are available for your own pleasure.

The island of Antipaxos lies 3 nautical miles southern from Paxos. In this island you can find the best beaches all over Ionian Islands.
